Wollondilly Shire Council in conjunction Wollondilly Aboriginal Advisory Committee will again be holding a NAIDOC family day event. This year the event will be held on Sunday 6 July at Picton Botanic Gardens between 10am to 2pm. Here is your chance to be involved and learn about the traditional people of this land and their culture.
At a Community Meeting at Warragamba on 25 June, Cr Judith Hannan suggested that she put diary notes on the Warragamba and Surrounds web site, to keep the Community informed about any progress dealing with the road in the area known as Baines Hill. As part of Local Government Week, we have a Volunteers Morning Tea, where Council recognises community members who are involved in volunteer work in our Shire. If you know of someone who deserves this kind of recognition, you can nominate them by contacting our Communications Unit on 4677 1179.

Community Strategic Plan 2030Council's Draft Community Strategic Plan 2030 exhibition period has closed. A report outlining the results from Council's engagement with the Community will shortly be put on this site along with the final version of the Community Strategic Plan after any changes have been resolved by Council.
