You have a number of alternatives for the payment of rates:
Payment in Full by the Due DateIf not electing to pay rates by instalments, Council must receive payment in full by 31st August, to avoid incurring daily interest charges. | Top | Payment by Four InstalmentsRates instalment due dates are as follows: - 31 August;
- 30 November;
- 28 February; and
- 31 May.
If paying rates by instalments a reminder notice will be sent one month prior to the instalment due date. Failure to pay by the due date will incur an interest charge. Interest accrues on a daily basis at 9% p.a. on rates and charges unpaid after the due date. | Top | Special Arrangements to PayRatepayers who, due to hardship, are not in a position to settle their rate account in full or by four instalments, can make alternative arrangements to pay by agreement with Council.
