Public Exhibition - Draft Wollondilly Local Enviornmental Plan 2009(LEP) & Draft Development Control Plan 2009 (DCP)

The Draft Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan 2009 and Draft Wollondilly Development Control Plan 2009 will be on public exhibition from 2 November to 14 December 2009.

The Draft Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan 2009 (LEP) has been prepared in line with the State Government's Standard Instrument (LEP) Order 2006. A Local Environmental Plan (LEP) is the legal guide for development and planning decisions for Local Government areas, through zoning and development controls. The Draft LEP consists of a written document and a series of related maps.

The Draft Wollondilly Development Control Plan 2009 (DCP) accompanies the Draft Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan 2009 and provides more detailed controls and requirements for different land uses to achieve the purposes of the LEP.

All information relating to the exhibition can be viewed and downloaded from Council's website at www.wollondilly.nsw.gov.aufrom 2 November 2009 or can be viewed at Council's Customer Service Centre or Wollondilly Shire Library (Menangle Street, Picton), or at the Wollondilly Mobile Library. Alternatively, there are 2 Cd's containing all relevant information that may be purchased at a cost of $10 each from Council's Customer Service Centre, at an Information Kiosk, or by phoning Council's Strategic Planning Department on 4677 1189. Hard copies of documents are available on request for appropriate production costs.

Three Information Kiosks and Presentations will be held during the exhibition period with staff available to answer questions. Members of the public are also able to make enquiries to staff at the Council offices during ordinary office hours.

Any person may make a written submission or comment on the Draft Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan 2009 or the Draft Wollondilly Development Control Plan 2009 during the public exhibition period. Submissions must be received no later than 4pm on Monday 14 December 2009, using one of the following:
