Wollondilly Shire Council provides a range of waste and recycling collection services to assist residents to minimise waste to landfill and maximise resource recovery for recycling and reprocessing.

Council provides residents with the choice of an 80 litre or 120 litre weekly general waste collection service (red lidded bin). The general waste collection service enables residents to dispose of materials that can not be recycled or placed in their garden organics bins. more ..

Recycling - Published: 25 Jun 2009
Council provides residents with a 240 litre fortnightly recycling collection service (yellow lidded bin). The recycling collection service enables residents to divert materials from landfill and reduce their impact on our local environment. more ..

Council provides residents with a 240 litre fortnightly garden organics collection service (green lidded bin) that are collected on alternate weeks to your recycling bin. Biannual Clean Up - Published: 25 Jun 2009
Council provides residents receiving a domestic waste collection service with 2 free kerbside clean ups each year. Residents are invited to neatly place up to 1.5 cubic metres (approx 1 box trailer load) of material on the kerbside for collection. All scrap metal items and batteries should be placed in a separate pile as a specialised vehicle collects scrap metal. more ..

Chemical & eWaste Drop Off Day - Published: 25 Jun 2009
Wollondilly Shire Council in conjunction with the Sydney Catchment Authority and the Department of Environment and Climate Change conduct free chemical collections around March/April each year.

The next collection will be held in Picton in March 2010. The date will be confirmed early 2010.  more ..
