Council Signs Missing - 02 Sep 2008
It has come to the attention of Wollondilly Shire Council that some Council street and area signs have gone missing.  This inconveniences the public in many ways, not only is it difficult to follow directions but replacing these signs are a financial burden to Council and in turn, ratepayers.

Country Valley’s Boutique Dairy Success - 29 Aug 2008
Picton’s Country Valley Boutique Dairy won the Champion Yoghurt at the Royal Easter Show this year and as a result of that they were nominated as one of six for the Royal Agricultural Society President’s Medal.  In late August, Country Valley also won the RAS President’s Medal for their yoghurt. more ..

Black Spot Funding for Wollondilly 2008-09 - 25 Aug 2008
Wollondilly Shire Council has received confirmation from The Hon Anthony Albanese MP, Minister of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government and Craig Thomson MP, Chair of NSW Black Spots Consultative Panel that Wollondilly Shire has received a total amount of $2,445,000 in Black Spot Funding for 2008-09. more ..

Picton Road, Traffic Increase - 20 Aug 2008
Wollongong Port Authority has announced that there will be an increase of traffic along Picton Road of over 35,000 trucks each year starting in November 2008. The increase of traffic is due to the closure of the car transport facility at  Port Jackson and this facility being transferred to Wollongong. more ..
