Christmas Closure

Council will Close for the Festive Season

Wollondilly Shire Council will close for the Festive Season from 12:30pm Friday 22 December 2006 to 8am Tuesday 2 January 2007. Other closures or alterations to Council Services for this period are listed below.

Emergencies

Council will have a number of operational staff available over the break to take care of basic maintenance and cleaning in our Parks and Gardens.

To report an emergency – including animal control and maintenance – please contact 4677 1100 to connect to a 24-hour answering service.

Leave a message and the appropriate Council Officer will respond to your call.

Children's Services

Wollondilly Year Round Care Last day Friday 22 December 06. Reopens Tuesday 2 January 07

Wollondilly Occasional Care  Last day Thursday 21 December 06. Reopens Thursday 1January 07

Wollondilly Family Day Care: Last day Friday 22 December 06. Reopens 2 January 07.

Pound

Closed: Saturday 23 December – Tuesday 26 December 06 and Saturday 30 December 05 – Tuesday 2 January 06.

Releases of impounded dogs and drop off of strays between 9 am and 11am on 26, 27, 28 and 29 December 2006.

Credit cards or cheque only – please call for further information.

24 hours Emergency On Call service available every day – please phone 46 771100 and follow prompts. ONLY for:

1. Cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs and deer straying in a public place.

2. Dog attacks, when a dog has attacked and made contact with a person or animal.

3. Any call form the Police.

All other Animal Control issues to be referred to Council on 2 January 2006.

Wollondilly Library and Information Service

Picton Branch: Closed 12.30 Friday 22 December – 10am Tuesday2 January.

Mobile Library: closed Thurs 21 December – Tuesday 2 January.

Books may be returned to the after hours shute at Picton Library while the Library is closed.
